We were feeling spicy for February so we chose some weird, dark romances: Sing Me to Sleep by R.M. Virtues is a dark fantasy romance where Penelope can't get to sleep. Her home was just invaded and her father was killed during that, so she is understandably suffering PTSD and insomnia. When she finally does get some sleep, she encounters sleep paralysis... and a demon watching her from the corner. Promises & Pomegranates by Sav R. Miller is a very loosely inspired Hades/Persephone dark mafia romance. Elena is forced to marry Kal. He wants her, she not so secretly wants him but there is drama and whatever. Can you tell I didn't love this book?
